- Design, validate and implement new analytical methods / preformulation / formulation and production processes in support of product development.
- Identify innovative methods/improvements applicable to the drug development process. Interpret and defend analytical data and reports and interact with Regulatory Affairs in response to official inquiries.
- Provide supervision, guidance and direction to lower-level technical/scientific staff.

- BS degree and 5 years of experience in product development, advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, process development and technology transfer required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in method development.

VALIDATION ENGINEER
VALIDATION ENGINEER – INCUMBENT WILL ENSURE CONSISTENT IMPLEMENTATION OF CORPORATE AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURING FACILITY. REQUIRES CONTINUOUS INTERACTION WITH QA, ENGINEERING, PRODUCTION AND VALIDATION REVIEW BOARD (VRB) PERSONNEL TO COORDINATE VALIDATION ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE. INCUMBENT WILL VALIDATE ACTIVITIES TO MEET REGULATORY/CORPORATE POLICIES AND GUIDELINES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
· DEVELOPING PLANS TO REMEDIATE ANY GAPS THAT EXIST
· VALIDATION OF NEW AND EXISTING EQUIPMENT.
· ENSURING COMMODITY, EQUIPMENT AND PROCESS MODIFICATION ARE VALIDATED
· TESTING CRITICAL AND KEY PROCESS PARAMETERS TO ASSURE THEIR RELIABILITY AND QUALITY, AND PROPER DOCUMENTATION OF VALIDATION WORK.
· MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXPERIENCE:
1. PREFER A BS IN ENGINEERING; PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES OR
SIMILAR RELATED DISCIPLINE WITH 2-5 YEARS IN PROCESS OR VALIDATION
